Happy ❤ Day

Good morning, everyone! How are you today?

It is a gorgeous overcast day here in Arizona.

It’s chilly outside (not too…I’m just a wimp when it comes to weather), and I believe we are supposed to get some rain. You know what this means? It means I am in a great mood and will be seated at my sewing machine with the blinds open so I can enjoy this beautiful weather. I’m working on a scrappy quilt for a very special family member. This is a project I must complete quickly, so please forgive me if I get behind on posting and reading your wonderful blogs as well for a couple of days.

Life is full of uncertainty and at times, seems really unfair. Be sure to let those you love and care about know how you feel, not just on this day but always. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us.

Happy Valentine’s Day! If it’s not your thing, then Happy Thursday, February 14th! I hope you have a lovely day.

With love,

  1. Belated Happy VD wishes and good luck with the sewing project. I have several patchwork quilts my grandmother made years ago and I cherish each one.

  2. I am just a little late in reading posts and discovering your site! Personally I hate when it rains because it makes my pain SO much worse. Where I live it has been raining for days and is supposed to continue next week. I have been crocheting because it makes me comfortable and happy. I wish I knew how to quilt, but I haven’t a clue on how to. I am really excited to continue reading more of your posts. I hope if you have time you will check out my site. I do my best to try spreading as much positivity as I can. Take care and Happy Belated Valentine!

    1. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my posts and comment! I will definitely check out your site! I’m so sorry that you’re having to deal with the extra pain the weather is bringing you. The rain intensifies my pain too, but at least I can tame it with pain pills. That’s awesome that you crochet! My mother in law tried to teach me…I failed miserably, ha. Honestly, I learned how to quilt from watching YouTube tutorials. There’s a lot of good ones out there. Sending you gentle hugs. Take care. 💛

      1. You are more than welcome! I enjoyed reading what you wrote and look forward to many more. Pain isn’t any fun, but I do have pain pills to help. Unfortunately, the pain meds don’t always fix it. I am so sorry that rain intensifies your pain, but I am glad pain pills help you! It is funny you say you learned how to quilt from YouTube videos, you can actually learn to crochet from some YouTube videos as well. I learned a long time ago and when I forget how to start a blanket, I watch a video! If you want to learn, I would be happy to share some videos that helped me!!! Lots of love and positive vibes!!!
